hemisphereGap?

Space between the paired hemispheres' medial edges, in world (mesh) units, usually millimetres. When given, each hemisphere is translated along the left-right (x) axis so its medial edge lies hemisphereGap / 2 from the pair's midline (x = 0); the other axes are untouched and repeated calls are idempotent. When omitted, mesh positions are left as they are (e.g. as set by separateHemispheres()). Report scenes interpret the gap for their own layouts. Must be finite and non-negative.
