Extract space descriptor from a GDS object

For non-GDS objects (e.g. a neuroim2 NeuroVol/NeuroVec) this generic falls back to neuroim2::space() when that package is available, so that attaching fmrigds does not mask neuroim2::space() on the search path.

A GDS object, or any object with a space method (such as a neuroim2 image).
