Arguments

A gds or gds_plan object
- family
A MapFamily to register
- overwrite
Logical; overwrite existing family with the same name
- name
Alignment family name
Value
The updated object with the family registered
A character vector of registered alignment family names
The MapFamily entry or NULL if not found
